HBW Online Birthing Classes For Expectant Parents

We offer a unique style of birthing class that is medically and scientifically based but combines a mindful approach to help increase your chances of having your ideal birth. We combine yoga poses and breath with meditative practices that can be performed before and during labor to help create a smoother birthing experience.

We review nutrition, anatomy, the 3 trimesters, stages of labor, and different scenarios/interventions. We also discuss postpartum needs and concerns.

Course can be offered for first time parents or as a refresher.

HBW Child Birth Educator (CBE) Online Trainings

HBW is a mindful nonjudgemental approach to birth education. The use of breath work, yoga, and meditation are strategies that can be very helpful during pregnancy, labor, and beyond. In the training, we incorporate these mindful techniques along with in depth education regarding anatomy and nutrition relating to pregnancy, the 3 trimesters, the stages of labor and possible interventions/different scenarios, and the postpartum period (what to expect, support, etc).

After completing the training and assignments and passing the final exam, you will receive your certification for Happy Birth Way Certified Birth Educator (CBE).

HBW Prenatal and Postnatal Online Yoga Classes

Practicing yoga during pregnancy can help alleviate symptoms and pregnancy pains along with aiding in relaxation and better sleep. We will also learn about and practice many postures that can be helpful in the labor process.

Postnatally, the body is in need of a nurturing and healing yoga practice that focuses on rebuilding the pelvic floor and core. We practice with the baby for increased bonding and the classes can help you to feel more energized, strong and flexible, and more calm as a mama. Baby-wearing is also incorporated.

Many women have described their experiences of childbirth as being associated with a spiritual uplifting, the power of which they have never previously been aware. To such a woman, childbirth is a monument of joy within her memory. She turns to it in thought to seek again an ecstasy which passed too soon.
